This group provides time and space for you to connect with yourself.
This group will provide you with many tools to help you regulate your nervous system and improve your overall wellbeing.
I apply many teachings of behavioral medicine and ancient techniques of breathing and meditation to help you reconnect to your true and authentic self.
Program Details
Duration : 90 minutes per session
Frequency : Once a week for 8 weeks
Location: On Zoom
Program Content: Each group includes a check in, a guided breathing and meditation practice (25-30 minutes), journaling prompts (10-15 minutes) and a check out. Themes evolve around relationships, values, boundaries, death, and self compassion. This is not a counselling group.
Alumni Group
If participants enjoy this group there is the option to participate in an alumni group that meets once a week to maintain their practice of meditation and self inquiry. Many participants find this to be a rich source of connection with others who share the same struggles with similar medical diagnoses.
Referral Process:
This group is currently closed to new referrals.
Patients who have attended Dr Chornell's previous groups, or patients that Dr Chornell has seen at her clinic, are invited to the group. If you think you would be a good fit for this group please reach out via my contact page and I will get back to you within 2 weeks as I currently run this group only 1-2 times a year. If this group becomes open to new referrals I will update this page.
